Who Should Really Get the Medal of Honor Under President Biden?

Dear readers,

I have a long list of unsung heroes to go through, but I think President Biden should award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the following people:

Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Yes, some of you may think she stirs the pot and boils Muslims over, but she is a fine woman, she stirs up the soup because it needs to be stirred up. Her latest book told us that Isis was dangerous because it was rooted in Islam itself. The beauty of America is that you can back out of communities like the islamic centers and not get your head sawed off. That principle, established the moment the Constitution was ratified, says that Congress doesn’t have a state or national religion. Fuck the idea that Christians founded America, or that America was founded on Christian or Biblical laws. It was a bunch of Puritans who said they wanted to practice how they wanted, but a stupid King said no. This is how our country was born. Essentially.

Shania Twain. Yes, a Canadian songsttress of country music. She’s done some amazing things, but she and Dolly Parton should get the Medal of Freedom because they are both good people, albeit country singers, but Shania comes from a mixed race family, Ojibwe and black and white and all the rest. Shania was born Eileen Regina Edwards but became Shania Twain because of things she discusses in her book From This Moment On. Twain is an unsung hero of sorts, and she’s a nature lover. Dolly of course because she changed the name of her Stampede and maintained Dollywood. I’d love to see her theme park, but Dolly has also done a musical called Christmas On the Square. You should have seen it, made me cry like a baby at the end.

Dan Fisher, first time I mentioned this guy, but Dan Fisher is a former FLDS guy who saved a bunch of boys and girls from Warren Jeffs. If he doesn’t have that medal, then give to this guy already. Fisher deserves the medal because of his deeds and actions surrounding the Diversity Foundation, Ultradent, and all the good stuff he’s done for boys and girls alike. He helped Carolyn Jessop escape with her eight children and among other things, tried to help the lost boys. Fisher is another unsung hero, and I better make sure everybody smiles while he gets it. We need dentistry breakthroughs anyway.

Lastly, I think we need to nominate someone I know personally. Retired army dude and awesome football extraordinaire Robert Zemcik, and here’s why. Robert took the protect and serve thing seriously, and I bet his mom, my awesome Aunt Donna, would cry her eyes out if she knew what we need in guys like Robert. He understands what “protect and serve” means, does not align with bad guys, and knows what extremist people do. He served two tours of duty, I won’t say where, but he’s someone who is totally awesome, loves people, dogs too, and has some affiliation with Wounded Warrior Project. Mind you, I think the guys in the Wounded Warrior project should get all a bunch of medals of freedom because of what they do for vets like my cousin, who is a strong and sturdy person who would never be where he is without a bit of military service, but he didn’t want to do soldiering after what he witnessed in the news. He’s been all over, I’ve seen him here and there and everywhere. But this guy is just one of many veterans who needs a damn medal of honor, especially because he didn’t have the gall to insurrect that day at the Capitol. He knows better and loves this country probably as much as his girlfriend, his adventures, whatever. Perhaps if I could, I’d ask him to come out of the woodwork and present himself to Biden for the honors. Or is Biden looking at veterans like him? Here’s another thought.

I would suppose that Joe Biden should award Scottie Smiley, that West Point blind guy, a medal of freedom. What’s my point here? the Medal of Freedom should go to people with integrity and honor, and all the people I just nominated have integrity and honor. Integrity is so important, and honor of one’s country and the greater good is another huge thing. Rush Limbaugh and those other guys Trump loved did not have honor. Alex Jones and Infowars is not a sign of honor or integrity. Alex Jones was crazy, no matter how you sliced and diced it. My cousin and grandfathers at least had some degree of honor or respect for God and country. Put your universal beliefs in the mix, but my cousin needs the gold medal more than the average celebrity types.

I also want to nominate people who have been dismissed from military service because of gender identity. Biden plans to revoke that ban, and maybe he should award compensatory payments and the medal of freedom to these brave young people, these brave souls denied a chance to serve God and country because of gender reassignment or being transgender. It’s unfair and Trumpist to deny a whole group of people military service because they’re transgender. that’s not the same as being blind, having a disability, etc etc. I would never want to join the military as a blind person because I don’t want to be killed by a drill sergeant, nor do I think sexual favors for male soldiers should ever be allowed. Back to Robert. I don’t think he’s ever done anything to a female in the military. He’d rather have been with wives or girlfriends, but never someone who is just young enough or drunk. He’s not that stupid. Women in the military are regularly sexually harangued and harassed for being female, and that needs to stop. There’s a culture change underway at Fort Hood, where private Vanessa Geeian was killed. Why? Because the guy who did it wanted some, and she said no. I’d give her the posthumous medal of freedom because she didn’t give in, and gave her life in service to a country that should have stood up for her. Her assailant should be court martialed all right.

Thank you all for reading this entry. I want to tell you all that I’ve had a bad sleep schedule lately. I just hope to God I can get it in check. Also, I hope my cousin doesn’t seem angry at me for nominating him for the medal of freedom from President Biden, but he is just one of many who should get it. Wounded warriors everywhere rejoice.

I hope Shania and Dolly Parton find this blog and see how important it is that they present themselves as potential recipients of medals by President Biden. I dare not nominate myself.
