Tear In His Beer

While doing the show with Blake and myself, we discovered that Tear In My Beer was a great song.  Well, I found out some weird stuff about that song, but I found a collaboration between the Hanks Williams, Senior and Junior, and the song sounded great together.

Well, my ex sang this song, so I decided to mess up the words like I sometimes do with songs lately.  Here’s what I came up with so far.  Feedback is appreciated. …

There’s a tear in his beer, and he’s crying for his dears,

But I’m not on his lonely mind.

He’s not thinking quite straight, and he thinks he was great,

And I was on his lonely mind.

He’s gonna keep drinking until he’s petrified,

But all he’s gonna get is his heart’s been bonified.

There’s a fly in his wine, and he’s drinking all the time,

For once, I’m not on his lonely mind!

There’s a tear in his beer, and he’s crying too much fear,

And lies are on his lonely mind.

Making lies about me and the stuff I cannot see,

But the more he drinks these beers, he could cry a thousand tears.

There’s a ring he has had for a zillion ages past,

And it’s there, reminding him of her,

He’s gotta be the weirdest ex Ii’ve ever really known,

But I better not be on his lonely mind!
